Blinds are the most flexible way to dress a window. The right one can darken a bedroom, stand up to a steamy bathroom, give you privacy without losing daylight, or simply pull a room together. We supply and fit eleven types, and every one is made to the exact measurements we take at your home visit.

Our blinds at a glance

Fabric blinds

• Roller blinds. The everyday all-rounder, with fabrics ranging from bright, light-filtering weaves to denser dim-out.
• Roman blinds. Soft, tailored folds with standard, blackout or thermal linings, for a premium, finished look.
• Day and night blinds. Alternating sheer and solid bands that slide past each other, so one blind adjusts both light and privacy.
• Pleated blinds. Fine fabric pleats that tuck neatly away, made for tilt-and-turn windows and awkward shapes.
• Panel blinds. Broad, flat panels of fabric on a sliding track, for patio doors, bifolds and large windows.

Slats and vanes

• Wooden Venetian blinds. Real wood slats with natural warmth, tilted to control light precisely.
• Faux wood Venetian blinds. The look of wood with moisture resistance, so they’re at home in kitchens and bathrooms.
• Vertical blinds. Hanging vanes that tilt and draw back, a practical choice for patio doors, bays and offices.

Blinds for a particular job

• Blackout and thermal blinds. Block light completely and can help reduce heat loss through glass. Ideal for bedrooms, nurseries and shift workers.
• Waterproof blinds. PVC and wipe-clean fabrics that won’t warp in bathrooms and kitchens.
• Perfect Fit blinds. Blinds held in their own frame inside uPVC windows, fitted without drilling and free of loose cords. Available as roller or pleated.

How to choose

Start with the room and what you need the blind to do, then think about the look. A few questions narrow it down quickly:

• How dark does it need to be? Bedrooms and nurseries usually call for blackout. Living spaces tend to suit light-filtering or dim-out fabrics better.
• Will it get wet or steamy? Above a sink or in a bathroom, choose waterproof or faux wood. Our guide to blinds for bathrooms explains why.

• How wide is the opening? Patio doors and bifolds need a blind that clears the way, such as vertical or panel blinds.
